From May 11th to May 19th, Vice President Luo Rong led a delegation to visit and exchange with relevant universities in Germany, Hungary, and France, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad and Confucius Institutes. During the trip, two talent recruitment fairs were held in Germany and France. 

    On May 12th and 13th, the delegation first had a discussion with the Munich Confucius Institute. Luo Rong said that Wuhan University of Technology was willing to actively participate in Sino-German cultural cooperation and promote the organization of summer camps. She also welcomed German youth to exchange in Wuhan. Later, Vice Presitent Luo Rong led the delegation to pay a visit to the Chinese Consulate General in Munich, where she held a meeting with Consul General Tong Defa. During the meeting, Luo Rong briefly introduced the overall work on Sino-German educational cooperation at our university and expressed that the university would provide opportunities for German young students to exchange and intern in China, promoting Sino-German cultural exchanges. The delegation also visited RWTH Aachen University, where they had in-depth exchanges with the Executive Chairman of the Alumni Foundation, Prof. Bernad Markert, and other school representatives. They invited professors from the university to serve as part-time professors at our university, and will provide job opportunities for the students to intern in Wuhan. They also welcomed more students from the university to come to our university and China for exchanges. During the visit, both sides witnessed the signing ceremony of the student project agreement and held a talent recruitment fair after the exchange, where more than 20 PhD students and scholars from the university participated. In addition, the delegation was invited to visit the school's mechanical laboratory and road traffic laboratory and other research facilities.
